In my mid 20’s I was referred to a mindfulness and meditation programme as I was suffering from acute anxiety. I found this programme really useful and I began to incorporate some of the techniques I learned into my daily life.
In my late 20’s I trained as a fitness instructor and spent a decade teaching. I was always amazed at how my clients would respond to rest and relaxation techniques I would teach and they became a highlight of my sessions.
Since then I have been fascinated by research linking science and spirituality of the East and West spanning thousands of years. This fasination exploded in 2013 when I trained as an ICF Integral Coach. Integral Coaching is a holistic approach to coaching and integrates deeper layers of purpose.
Fast forward a decade or so and I’m working in the corporate world. A large part of my role was Wellbeing Lead. Here I designed my own format of teaching, using my harvested knowledge and the most effective tools from all of my research.
In 2024 I found myself in a challenging situation of conflicting life priorities and I made the decision to take a break from my work and now have the pleasure of caring for my Mum full time.
I see myself as an explorer of mindfulness and meditation with a disire to heal and support others. I am passionate about sharing my research so you too can begin to incorporate a practice into your daily routine and harness the benefits. If we help heal ourselves we can begin to radiate this healing out to the world.
